Community and Charity Work

We have a proud history of jewellers within our family. We set this business up in 1993 in Tooting as this was becoming a landmark for shopping in London. Since then, we have created strong foundations of respect and trust within the community of Tooting and Wandsworth, and we wish to continue building the strong bonds that support this locations’ thriving environment. We have been the co-sponsors of a local Wandsworth charity called Share, which helps people with disabilities by delivering learning and wellbeing programmes. This is so that they may recognise their full potential and retrain themselves equipped with workplace skills

Minar Jewellers Ethical Policy

Minar Jewellers are members of The National Association of Jewellers that is a professional body of Jewellers.

We are also members of The Gemmological Association of Great Britain and The Responsible Jewellery Council and abide by their code of conduct 2013.

As members of Professional bodies we ensure that our suppliers comply with our ethical policy of not using Child Labour in the supply chain and or do not have poor working conditions.

Where the manufacturers supply diamond or Gemstone set Jewellery they give us a written confirmation that the diamonds or gemstones have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with United Nations resolutions.

Our Customers

We take great pride in treating every person from staff to customer as part of the Minar family. We pride ourselves on customer service, and because of the depth of experience in the jewellery field, we get customers coming time and time again through our doors. Our director, Pravin Pattni, was the past Chairman of The National Association of Goldsmiths, which merged with the British Jewellers Association to become The National Association Of Jewellers (NAJ) which has a national membership of 1800 members. He was instrumental in helping these two jewellery bodies merge into one.
